Blog? What’s a blog?

A while ago, the Illyriad GMs put out a call to find out if anyone is blogging about Illyriad. There wasn’t much response.

Blogs are easy to create. A friend of mine (an absurdly talented cook) uploads her new recipes to a personal blog, because her friends often ask for them and it’s easier to upload them there than to faff around emailing them out individually. Obviously I chose a blog format for Kurdruk’s ramblings. The Illyriad GMs keep a blog to talk about their clever tech. Anyone can do it.

It would be simple enough to create a blog for an alliance (for news, gossip, propaganda, etc.), for short fiction (there is already fan fiction on the Illyriad forum, of course), or – like this – for hints and tips and observations.

WordPress and Blogspot both offer free, easy blogging solutions (as well as paid-for and techie options if you’re that way inclined!) So, anyone up for adding to the Illyriad blogosphere?

About Kurdruk

Kurdruk is a fictitious character. Specifically, he is a fictitious Orc. Orcs are, of course, a fictitious race. And so, being a fictitious member of a fictitious race, it is unsurprising that Kurdruk lives in a fictitious land - Illyria. So it is no surprise that Kurdruk's great wisdom relates to life in the realm of Illyria - in other words, in Illyriad.

Just to clarify one thing… the comments on the blog need to be approved by the owner of the blog, before they can be read by other people?

Adding to the Illyriad blogs out there, I’ve made a blog to express the various strategies I think up. It’s much like this one but with less current events, tips and guides. I’ve put it as my web site here, but I’ll post it again for easy access.
